(the girls doing school - art to be exact - in our little classroom)I don't really have any earth shattering news to post but thought I better post something or people will think we have fallen off the face of the earth. Life is going good here just busy with day to day tasks. John is SUPER busy with work so we don't see a lot of him these days. The girls and I keep busy though with school and various other activities. Speaking of the girls, yesterday marked the 6th anniversary of when our beautiful first born, Leah, was placed in our arms. It was funny to be here in China to celebrate it. Leah will be turning 7 in just a couple of weeks and it doesn't seem possible.
The best news is we are about to go to Malaysia for a week of vacation. At least every other year, our family tries to go somewhere to a beach because all of us love it - and it is truly one of the easiest vacations to take when you have little ones. We've gone to Alabama, North Carolina, Florida but now we get to go see a Malaysian beach. We are going to an island called Langkawi and we are going to sit ourselves down on the beach and not do much of anything for the whole week. Everyone is looking forward to it. I will be certain to post photos of it because from all the photos I have seen, the place is ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Can't wait to see it myself. Who would have ever thought that little ole me would get to experience so much and see so much of this great big world! I am blessed indeed!
